I haven’t been around much lately, but I have a good excuse. I’ve been working my booty off trying to get Three Girls and a Leading Man finished.
When I first started this writing journey, I set a goal for myself to finish the series before Christmas. Well, I didn’t quite make it, but I came darn close. Three weeks off, to be exact. The final book should be ready for release next week. I’m not 100% sure yet, but I’m thinking it should be available on Thursday, January 12th.
I have a few fun events planned to celebrate the wrapping up of the trilogy. First of all, I plan to make Three Girls and a Baby available free for Kindle next week. If you haven’t read the first book in the series yet, or don’t have the ebook version, here’s your chance to pick it up for free! Later in the winter I’m planning a blog tour which might just include a few giveaways.
The final fun event is ready to share right now and I’m so, so excited about it! A few months ago I found out about a special sale Scarlett Rugers was running on her cover art. Scarlett is an amazing artist (go check out her stuff here) so I snapped up a few spots in her sale right away. I love the current covers for the Three Girls series, don’t get me wrong, but I’ve been looking for something a little different for a while now. I feel that when the books are in print, they skew a little young, so I’ve been looking for something a little more sophisticated. I think Scarlett did a lovely job and I couldn’t be happier.
So, without further ado, here are the new book covers for Three Girls and a Baby and Three Girls and a Wedding. Enjoy!
And just ’cause I think they’re pretty, here are the full paperback versions.
What do you think??
Love them!
Rachel~ I think your covers are fabulous–fun and sophisticated– and they really communicate the spirit of your books as well as link them together beautifully. I’ve downloaded Three Girls and a Baby and am loving it. No doubt, I will leave a very positive review and plan to read the others in the series. It’s so refreshing to read an indie chick lit writer who can actually write. I’m getting ready to self-pub my first novel, Dewitched, a wickedly funny chick lit retelling of Snow White written from the POV of the Evil Queen. It took me 6 months to write, 2 years to edit and I wrote the sequel somewhere in-between. Good luck with all your books! You deserve success!! ~ els
Thank you, Ellen! Your book premise sounds totally awesome, that is definitely something I will be checking out. Good luck!!
Wow! Got your response seconds after emailing a writer friend how much I was in awe of your success! Thank you for sharing it on Writer’s Cafe! I congratulated you — under another name. Truly, your journey is so inspirational!
