A Few Updates

I have been getting lots of questions about a release date for the new Ransom book. I’m happy you guys are eager and excited for Lennon’s story! I turned Rescue over to my editor last week, which means we’re getting close! It usually takes a few weeks to go through several rounds of editing and proofreading but that can vary quite a bit. That means I’m not able to give a firm release date quite yet. The holiday season can also impact the release date–many of the ebook vendors shut down for publishing over Christmas. I think it’s probably a safe bet to look at early January 2016 for the release. If everything happens to go quicker than expected, of course I’ll publish it ASAP! Stay tuned to my Facebook page and sign up for my newsletter for updates.

Did you guys check out A Three Girls Christmas? This is a short story about Annie, Ginny, and Jen and it’s available now! This short story was originally featured in a charity anthology several years ago but this is the first time you can purchase it on its own.

Tomorrow is going to be another Stuff Your eReader event! Dozens of ebooks from bestselling authors will be available for free. These events are always really fun and there’s a great group of authors participating this time. Check my Facebook page and newsletter for links tomorrow!

For a short time, several of my books are available in the Kindle Unlimited library. If you’re a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, you can access some of the Three Girls books and the Love Story books for free! These books won’t be in the program for long so check them out ASAP.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for being so patient with me! My schedule didn’t turn out quite as expected this year for a variety of reasons. I really got slowed down and my releases just didn’t happen as quickly as I would have liked. I know some of you were hoping for more Three Girls this year and another Lovestruck book. I wish I could have made that happen! My goal for 2016 is definitely MORE BOOKS! The good news is that I’ve started a brand new series and book one is almost finished! So we should be getting off to a good start with Rescue and something new early in the new year. I’m also hoping for a new Three Girls AND a new Lovestruck in 2016. And I’m not finished with Ransom yet either 😉

I hope you are all enjoying the season and staying warm if you’re in a snowy northern climate like me! I’ve been enjoying lots of Christmas movies by the fire with my Lucy dog curled up next to me 🙂

New book, a sale, and lots of giveaways!

Teaser1-2Fred and Ellie’s book is now available on Amazon! You can find it right here. Unfortunately, I’m having some issues with Barnes and Noble. I’ll post the Nook link just as soon as I have it. I would love to hear what you think about the new book!

To celebrate Ellie and Fred, I’m participating in a blog tour for the next two weeks with the first book of the series, Escape In You. At each blog stop you can enter to win an ebook and a $100 gift card at Amazon. That’s a lot of books! You can find all the blog stops right here: Escape In You Blog Tour

Because of the new release and the blog tour, I’m putting Escape in You on sale. For a limited time you can grab the first book in the series for $.99. This is a great time to check out these new books!

Alright, I’m off to my writing cave. I’m currently hard at work on a new Lovestruck book. Hope you’re all doing well!

Christmas is coming!

How are you all enjoying December so far? It’s pretty cold here in Michigan, and getting dark sooo early. It makes me sleepy!

Which is very inconvenient because I have TONS of work to do! I’ve spent the last few months doing everything I could to make sure I have nice things ready for you for the holidays! I’m just about there, so I thought I’d take a minute to let you know what you can expect. (Speaking of sharing news, did you know I have a mailing list? You can sign up here. I ONLY send out emails when I have a new release or a big announcement. I promise not to spam you. I hate spam! Sometimes I do contests for mailing list members, too, so you can get free stuff!)

The question I am asked the most often is definitely always, “Will there be more Three Girls books?” The answer is YES! I love these characters and have lots in store for them in the future. The 5th book of the series is actually almost ready for release. It goes to the editor on Monday and I’m hoping to have it published in January. I can’t tell you the title or show you the cover yet, but I can tell you that I’ve cried more writing this book than any other I’ve written. Not because it’s super sad or anything (though it does have it’s moments) but because I really love these characters and we find out so much about them in the new book. I can’t wait to see what you think!

The second piece of news: the next Lovestruck book (with Lizzie and Thomas) should be out in just a few weeks! If you haven’t read this series yet, I hope you give it a try. Lovestruck in Los Angeles has a beautiful cover from Scarlett, I’ll post it below. Lovestruck in London is the first book and it’s available here. Here’s the new cover, isn’t it pretty??

I also have new covers for the Love Story books. I. love. them. I think they’re some of the prettiest covers I have. If you haven’t read the Love Story series, book one, In Search of a Love Story, is free right now. FYI: If you like the Three Girls you should definitely read this series. Some of our friends make little cameos;)

Okay, last bit of news: all of my books are enrolled in the Amazon Matchbook program. This means you can now purchase the paperback and get the ebook for a discounted rate. I thought this would be a nice idea for Christmas–you can buy a book for a loved one and get the ebook for yourself for $.99! This is available on all of my books.

Okay, that should be it from me. I need to get back to the writing cave to finish up the new Three Girls book. I hope you all enjoy your Wednesday evening:)

Cover reveal! Title reveal! Contest! Exclamation points!

Thank you guys so much for being so supportive of the Three Girls and a Baby sale! The book was downloaded quite a bit yesterday and it was so fun to see it show up on some best-seller lists. For a while Baby was the #16 ebook on BarnesandNoble.com! Weee! The sale will continue through next Monday so if you haven’t grabbed a copy yet there’s still time to get it cheap;)

The big news for today is that I am finally ready to reveal the title and cover of my next book. Without further ado, I present…

Lizzie Medina went to London to reinvent herself. Tired of being the quiet baby sister, and in no hurry to settle into a boring existence in surburbia, she escapes from home at the first opportunity. When she settles in London for a year of post-graduate studies, Lizzie is sure she’ll be able to start a whole new life. Immerse herself in the books she loves. Explore a new country. Work on her dream of writing a novel. She might even be able to find a little bit of excitement for once.

But falling unexpectedly in love with up-and-coming actor Thomas Harper causes Lizzie to re-think her wishes for excitement. When Thomas’s career suddenly explodes to superstar levels, Lizzie finds herself forced to navigate the fame game of red carpets, catty co-stars, gossip magazines, and paparazzi. When she wished for a new life, she had no idea it would be anything like this!

Lizzie must now determine if her love is strong enough to get her through the complications of dating a movie star. Even if she and Thomas are able to pull through before she leaves London, how will she deal with the inevitability of returning to a life at home that no longer feels like her own? Will the changes Lizzie made in London be enough to help her find true happiness?

Find out in Lovestruck in London, available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and the iBookstore Tuesday, May 21st 2013!

I am so excited to release this book! I researched it and started writing during my trip to the UK last fall. It seems so crazy to me that a book I started while sitting in Hyde Park one afternoon, worked on while cruising across the ocean, and finished after moving into my new house will actually be published. I really hope you guys like it as much as I do! I think the thing I’m most excited about is introducing a whole new set of characters. I tend to get really invested in my characters–in fact, I kind of refuse to believe that Kiki Barker Thompson is not a real person and my actual friend. I hope you guys will enjoy meeting Lizzie and her friends because I’m so excited for you to get to know them!

To help spread my excitement, I’ll be giving away a $20 Amazon.com gift card to one of my readers. To enter, all you have to do is comment below and let me know your email address and who your favorite literary character is. The contest is only open to those living in the United States, sorry!  I’ll randomly select a winner the day of the book release, Tuesday, May 21.

I’ll be doing at least two more contests throughout the week in anticipation of the release. One will be open to newsletter members only, so if you haven’t already, sign up to be on the email list here. I only send out *occasional* emails regarding new releases, sales, and contests, promise! I will not clog up your inbox because I hate that as much as the next girl;)

I’m still working on the last minute polish of the novel so I better get back to work. Hope you all have a lovely Tuesday. Good luck with the contest!
